Finding Vu is an organization created to raise awareness of the plight of those displaced during the aftermath of the Vietnam War.

The goal of this organization is to help locate members of the Boat People torn apart from their families during that period and reunite them with their loved ones, and to combat the conditions and human rights violations that contribute to the continued displacement of Southeast Asian children and families even today.

As a family that is also looking for a displaced loved one, our own search hopefully will inspire others to have the courage to find their family members that have been missing since the fall of Vietnam. We are dedicated to reuniting Boat Families and overcoming the fear from continued heartache.

Though our organization is in its early stages, with each search, we are building a database of information to better be able to reconnect families. In addition to monetary contributions, we ask for individuals and organizations to involve themselves in charitable causes by making available their business, social or educational resources. We hope that such involvement will be mutually beneficial to all those involved by providing an outlet for individuals to promote their respective interests while doing charitable work.
