We are searching for refugees who would like to share their personal stories from 1975 to the present.

 

Our Purpose:

To Help: If you are refugee and have been disconnected from your loved ones, Finding Vu would like to extend our help in your search.

Quick Search: Finding Vu has an ongoing mission to collect a database of Vietnamese Boat People. Our vision is to have families find each other from this list of names.

Platform: Finding Vu would like people to share their family stories and give a voice to the Vietnamese Boat People.

 

We want to hear your story, whether or not you are looking for a lost family member. All of your experiences have the potential to benefit others.

Finding Vu is on a mission to help reunite families who have lost loved ones during the Boat People era, after the Vietnam War (1975 - Present Day). Even after arriving in the refugee camps, families were forced to separate when countries could only accept a few new Boat People at a time. Parents sent their kids off to a better life and freedom, while they stayed behind in hopes of reuniting one day. It's never too late for that to happen.
